Electronic components such as printed circuit boards,
semi conductors, wave guides and aerials all employ metals
and water based chemistry for their preparation.
Specifications
for the quality of ventilation air and water to be used
are amongst the highest of all industries, with
generous application to assure the high production yields
required by the industry.
The wastewater produced may only
be lightly contaminated but toxic, which offers good
opportunities for reclaim
and recycling, avoiding repeat purchase and initial water
purification costs.
Traditional water purification methodologies
using chemical regeneration ion exchange systems, which
themselves create
the need for significant waste treatment installations,
are now being replaced with technologies employing
electricity using reverse osmosis membranes and electro-deionisation
cells.
In addition to avoiding chemical purchase and
waste disposal, these facilities do not demand regeneration
downtime
and expensive unit duplication. Liquid waste and
ventilation air processing before disposal need to be strictly
addressed for conformance and industry sustainability.
e-RPM Rinserite technology allows the multi-parameter
monitoring and control of process wash stations and
wet benches to
avoid the excessive use of expensive high purity
water while, at the same time, assuring process
conformance.
