- Tangible Gains from e-RPM

Productivity Improvement
A Major UK aerospace manufacturer wanted to double the throughput of aircraft parts within a chemical cleaning process, but without purchasing additional tanks and deionised water services. e-RPM supplied a Rinserite™ control package to alternate spray rinsing to new and existing spray bars. This allowed two set panels to be processed on every load as compared to the one set, as originally designed.
Example (aerospace I17) >

Cost Reduction
A UK prosthetic joint manufacturer wanted to lower the cost of ultrapure water used for parts cleaning and, at the same time increase output. e-RPM suggested that a reverse osmosis water purifier be installed in place of the service ion exchange barrels they were currently using.
Example (medical H8) >

Raw Material Conservation
A UK hydraulics equipment manufacturer wanted a hard chrome deposition process without loss of chrome salts to ventilation and rinsing. e-RPM designed a fume exhaust scrubber to be a solution concentrator using waste heat from the process. This allowed the chrome rinse to be evaporated and returned to the plating solution
Example (Product surface finishing H15) >

Quality improvement
A UK printed circuit board manufacturer wanted to improve the quality and output volume of deionised water without employing chemicals or creating additional waste. e- RPM designed an electrodeionisation system to accept output from texisting and additional reverse osmosis systems. This raised the resistivity of the RO water from 0.1 megohm to the required 0.5 megohms.
Example (Electronics H13) >

Regulatory Conformance
A UK landfill leachate treatment plant operator was required to monitor and adhere to stricter discharge standards for his SBR process. e-RPM supplied a Remote Process Monitoring system to report process conditions and alert offsite management of impending non-conformances or unsatisfactory trends.
